A View From My Balcony
Since I was a child, I loved to watch –
From my balcony the world go past,
Then it was at work I quietly drew
Sketches of men and women I knew.
An airline stint gave me a bird’s eye view,
A career in retail a closer review;
But it was the head-hunting stint
That gave me insight to man’s within.
Today, I still curiously view the world
That goes past my Facebook Wall,
For mute or astute I get a myriad view
Of human psyche rich and true.
